What gets built here
Replacement machines for units whose original manufacturer no longer supports them, built to the existing foundation bolt pattern, shaft height and coupling so no civil or alignment work is needed.
Machines for a duty that no standard product survives — high inertia, frequent reversal, non-sinusoidal supply, ambient temperatures well outside the design assumption, or a duty cycle with hundreds of starts per day.
Machines that do not exist as a standard product at all: inductor machines, special-frequency units, and drives for test benches and laboratory rigs.
In every case the work starts from constraints rather than from a product family. The first question is not which machine, but what the machine has to fit and survive.
Six stages, with the approval gate in the right place
Design approval sits before manufacture, not after. That is the difference between a change that costs a week and one that costs a machine.
Requirement and survey
What the machine has to do, where it sits, and what it has to fit. For replacement work this is a dimensional survey; for new duty it is the load and duty cycle.
Feasibility and concept
Whether the requirement can be met inside the constraints, and at what cost. If it cannot, you find out here rather than after an order is placed.
Technical proposal
Electrical and mechanical design, outline drawing, performance data and the test programme, issued for your review.
Design approval
Your engineers approve the outline and the interface dimensions before manufacture begins. Changes after this point cost time.
Manufacture and test
Production, followed by routine tests and any type or witness tests agreed in the proposal.
Delivery and commissioning
Documentation pack, delivery, and site attendance for installation and first run where required.
