Corrosive atmosphere outside the enclosure
The threat is often chemical attack on the housing and fan cowl rather than ingress. Coating specification matters as much as IP rating.
Continuous duty with no planned stop
Machines run between turnarounds measured in years. Bearing life and regreasing intervals are designed to the shutdown cycle.
Mixed zone and safe areas
