Portfolio

Products

The portfolio is organised into eight families. A family is defined by primary function, not by market — a motor used in mining and the same motor used in a water plant is one product, related to two industries.

Global attributes and family attributes

The RFQ lists twenty-six candidate technical attributes and asks which apply across the portfolio and which apply to one family. That distinction determines what the filters offer, what the comparison table shows, and how many empty cells a product page contains.

Global attributes

Every machine in the portfolio has a meaningful value. These drive cross-family search, comparison and the base product page template.

Family-specific attributes

Meaningful for some families only. Showing a vector group on a motor page, or a temperature class on a transformer, produces empty cells — and empty cells cost credibility faster than a missing feature does.
