AM series extended with IE4 variants up to 250 kW

The general-purpose range now covers IE4 efficiency across frames 160 to 355, with unchanged IEC mounting dimensions.

The AM series has been extended with IE4 variants across frames 160 to 355, covering ratings from 18.5 kW to 250 kW. Mounting dimensions remain to IEC 60072, so an IE3 machine can be replaced with the IE4 equivalent without mechanical modification.

The extension responds to EU ecodesign requirements, under which motors placed on the EU market above defined thresholds must meet IE4 from July 2023 for the 75–200 kW band.

IE4 variants are identified in the catalogue at variant level rather than series level, because efficiency class varies with pole count and rating within the same series.
